Perkins Tavern, Newcastle, and three other local sponsors, currently keep Jesse in tires, parts, and lots of encouragement as young Jesse James Kopp pursues his racing passion. Last year, 2008, Jesse won a scholarship to a racing camp for his age group. For the 16 trophies this young guy has to date, Jesse is going places. His Dad is his pit boss, current mechanic, and mentor. Newcastle, Wyoming as a community that really gets behind their young people who “reach for the stars.”
